Picton sunsport mariner 55. This boat a stunning example and is immaculate for its age with only minor marks as is to be expected. The gel coat shines up well and she looks great in and out of the water. The interior is great with no rips or tears in the upholstery. All dials (speedo, clock and rev counter) work as they should. As do the navigation lights. It’s seats five with a rear bench seat and two matching bucket seats at the front. The passenger seat can be turned front ways if required. The floor and transom are solid with no softness at all. The engine is a 55 hp mariner electric start. It’s run on a premix system at a ratio of 50:1. This is manual tilt but is light to lift. Is has been recently serviced with new gear oil, impeller, fuses etc. It pumps water strongly. Is starts first time on the key and has manual choke and electronic choke on the helm. The engine also comes with a stainless whale tail to get it on the plane faster. There has been a brand new teleflex steering cable and whole helm assembly fitted last week with receipts to prove. Also there is a brand new winch. It is well suited to water sports (we ski of it regularly) or just general pottering on the river. The trailer is a breaked snipe breakback trailer and tows well. The bearings have been recently greased.Included are a light board and heavy duty ratchet strap for towing so all that is required is a number plate to tow away. The only thing not included is a battery as I use this in my other boat but can be shown running. All in all a great little boat. Easy for one person to launch and retrieve and reliable. Picton 170 playmate GTS speed boat – projectThis mercury 90 horsepower speed boat was a project we have not had time to finish. we have had the outboard serviced last year. It does run but would benefit from the carburetors cleaning, we also have had the ignition renewed. All that is requires is the interior to be boarded out and the seats to be placed in. 14′ Picton Speed Boat, age unknown, fitted with a 1992 60HP Mercury 2 Stroke Outboard. Power trim doesn’t work. Fuel tank in the bow, and separate oil tank, no need to premix the fuel.Engine was running fine last year but now could do with a good service. I am selling this as a non runner as I don’t have time for sea trials etc. Trailer is included, I fitted new tyres, wheels, bearings and suspension units last year. New prop fixed last year. The seats were new 2 years ago as was the steering cable. Overall condition is OK, topsides could do with a good compound & polish, there are a few knocks and scrapes and there is a crack in the windscreen. It is usable as is but would benefit from a bit of cosmetic TLC. It is easy to launch and tow even with a small car. Included are, anchor, chain & rope & a pair of paddles. I bought this boat purely as a favour to a person who was desperately short of money. I don’t want it and haven’t used it. I do not want to get too involved with it so what you see is what you get. I do know that he did use the boat a few times and I did hear the engine running probably a month before I bought it (Dec 2016). Pictures in the listing were all taken today.It generally wants a good clean.The trailer, although in very good condition, I believe is just a heavy duty launch trailer or for a lighter boat on the road.
