This auction is for my Picton 15ft speed boat.The condition for its year is very good , yes it does have a few bruises but for 29 years old she is hardly in her first flush of youth.The hull is sound with no leaks could do with a polish but looks good in the water. The cockpit will accommodate up to five people but for it to really GO I would suggest two adults and no more than three smallish children. I have regularly run her with two very big men and still achieved 35+mph. She comes up onto the plane at 11 mph which is achieved in seconds.I will leave some ropes. an anchor and line and about 3 to 4 litres of good quality (Quicksilver) 2 stroke oil which would cost about £50.00 to buy. The engine is a Mariner (Mercury) 75 hp with hydraulic trim and tilt and electric key start. It is keen to start and will tick over all day without problems.I have recently spent £500.00 in having the carbs cleaned and tuned and a new ignition system installed. As I mentioned earlier it is very fast and can be quite exciting when the throttle is opened. It has plenty of life let in it if its is looked after and quality oils are used. The trailer was purchased new from Indespension Trailers ltd on 27/07/2016 at a cost of £1250.00 and I have the sales receipt as proof. As you can imagine it is in first class condition. there is no rust on it, the winch works as it should and winch strap is undamaged. The tyres are in good condition with no cuts or damage to the side walls and the tread is almost like new. The wheel bearings are problem free and have been greased regularly. The trailer also comes with two spare wheels and tyres. A jack and wheel brace are also included.The trailer tows like a dream and it does not require a large powerful vehicle to pull the boat and trailer an ordinary family saloon /hatchback will do the job just fine. In the spirit of honesty the speedo stopped working last week, but I use an app on my mobile phone which is more accurate and works just as well. This Team Picton 150GTS Speedboat comes with an easy launch split-back Snipe trailer and working 60hp 2stroke Mariner motor. Also included is the fully working hydraulic tilt and trim mount fitted which is controlled by the multifunctional throttle control and ignition. Turn and push key in to prime the engin for start, separate choke leaver and tilt and trim buttons on top of main throttle leaver for forward and reverse throttle. Work needed to flooring and seat covers as can be seen in pictures and is reflected in the price. The fibreglass hull, windscreen and all fixings are in good condition with the hull clean and ready for antifungal paint before launch. Picton 185 GTS with Mariner 175hp V6 Outboard in excellent condition. I have owned this boat since 2010 and its been an absolutely fantastic boat. Good sea keeping and stacks of power. Ideal for wake boarding, water skiing and inflatables. It will easily pull two deep start mono skiers.The interior is in good condition although the back seat is starting to show signs of wear.I installed Vetus hydraulic steering shortly after buying. This cost £1000 and makes handling so easy.The engine is reliable and maintained regardless of cost using genuine parts supplied by ABC power marine in Beaumaris.The traileris is a full roller trailer and has been well maintained. This season it has had new wheel bearings and wheels. There is a full cover made by brookes tarpaulins. These are the best covers available which do not leak and they last for years unlike the cheap rubbish on ebay.I have some paperwork and manuals.The reason I’m selling it is because I want to buy another boat locally.
